I have a degree in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education; and this product is very developmentally appropriate. My son (6 months) loves the toys. The placement of the toys is wonderful. They are not too close, but he is able to actually reach them and pull them to him. The barn plays music (several different songs), and there is even a small mirror. The toys are very cute and colorful. The seat is very easy for him to turn (there is a seat lock also if you do not want your child to turn). I like how the snack tray is raise and has a place for Cheerios. The assembly was not hard at all and did not take very long. (you just have to be able to read and follow instructions) In my opinion, it is great at developing gross and fine motor skills.

If we should describe the Evenflo Exersaucer Mega Circus in just a few words, we will only say education and entertainment. That’s all there is to it, education and entertainment, keep your child alert and focused, with a lot of toys, building his capacity to concentrate and develop his or her abilities.

Well, if we think about it, this activity center is a bit of challenge for parents too , since it needs about 30 minutes to put it together, and maybe you will also need instructions to set it up right. I don’t say this to scare you away, because this exersaucer is not complicated, but complex, able to provide your child what he or she needs in order to grow and flourish.

Inside the Learning Center baby can bounce, rock, swivel, and spin. Made of durable, molded plastic, the learning center can be used indoors or outdoors. Three height positions allow the toy to grow with baby, and the seat locks in six positions to provide stability.

Just think about the 9 toys and the 12 songs that will keep you baby entertained, think about the legs that fold and about the handles that will help you carry it outside easily.

I bought this exersaucer when my son was 5 months old and had enough head control for an upright toy. We already had a jumperoo that I had received as a gift, but it looked like my son was not really that interested in it,I really wanted something that would entertain my son for a bit so I could have a few minutes to do something I thought an exersaucer (with so many more toys than the jumperoo) would be even more fun. I also felt that the exersaucer would be a bit easier for him to use at first since at its lowest setting it’s lower than the jumperoo and therefore better for slightly smaller children.

At first, the bright colors were a bit overwhelming to him.he would stay in it for a little while then start crying .Not wanting to pack and return this heavy item i would put him everyday in it for a minute or two then gradually working up to 10mins a day.

By the age of 9 mths my son started playing in this saucer and would stay up to 45mins playing with it.My son was particularly interested in the spin wheel with little balls in it also the car with a horn on the top.He also liked the small rubber soft toys that hang and would chew on them. By 10mths he was rocking the saucer vigorously and seemed to enjoy that a lot.

As for assembly and storage, the exersaucer is slightly different than the jumperoo or the aquarium cradle swing, and I’ve found it much easier to move from room to room than either the jumperoo or cradle swing. It also easily collapses into a relatively flat circle, which makes it good to pop in the car and take along as a portable entertainer. Assembly was easy except for installing the lower (green) legs into the yellow base.
Overall, I highly recommend this exersaucer. It is not that expensive as compared to the other ones out there and with the frequent Toy’s R us coupons drop the price down furthar.These items also have great reasale value and I have found I can easily recoup most of the price of items like these later on by reselling it.Great for keeping baby’s attention while you cook or clean etc I would say if you have the extra cash to spare get this item you won’t regret it…..

We LOVE this excersaucer!

It fabulously folds down for travel or moving it from room to room with a handle and everything.

We put our daughter in it at 4 months of age (with blankets around her) and it was an immediate success. She has so much fun in it! She’s 6 months old now and still loves every minute. We also purchased a few of the “Switch-a-roos” for it. The tall fish teething switcharoo and the crinkly bee switcharoo are big hits with our baby girl and the switcharoos are very reasonably priced.

She loves all the sounds and lights. They aren’t too annoying. (As for someone’s comment on the creepy laughter, I kinda agree – it is slightly creepy, but my daughter actually smiles and laughs with the sound!)

Oddly enough, one of my daughter’s favorite things to play with on it are the star-domes that cover the springs!!!

Love the gender neutral, yet bright and fun colors and designs.

Easy to clean. Evenflo switcharoos are great to change the toys up a little bit, even though she loves the toys it comes with!

This is an item we could not live without!! Great for some hands free time for parents!! Our girl has a blast in hers!

At 10 months old, this is STILL a hit with our daughter! Couldn’t be more pleased with all the use we have gotten out of this! I’m wondering if there are replacement parts, like another cloth seat, just so I can have a spare for when I wash the original!

My baby got this toy at 6 months. He never used the first stage where you bat at the toys, but he definitely loved the exersaucer stage. He loved to spin and bounce in it too. Beware it makes a lot of noise when baby bounces. Interesting toys that interchange locations. Runs on rechargeable batteries well; it takes a lot of batteries: I think 9!

At about 10 months old we changed it to the 3rd stage. He likes it because he’s in more control, he’s able to cruise around the ‘S’ shaped toy. Be careful, in the 3rd stage baby will hold onto it for support and more than once it’s given way a little. Not the sturdiest thing in stage 3.

Update: After 12 months, his interest in this item went to zilch. Now at 21 months, he passes it by like it isn’t even in the room. It’s really only good for the first 12 months, at least for my son. So consider it’s a short term interest, like many toys, before buying.

You may ask yourself why I have started this blog on exersaucers. Well, I personally think that we need a place where we can share information on exersaucers, babies and everything else around these topics. I know that there are not that many websites where you can inform yourself about things such as which is the best exersaucer around, how much should you pay for one, where can you buy one, etc.

Also, there are questions about how useful it is, if doctors recommend using one, what is the best, an exersaucer, a jumper or a baby walker, etc. Moms need to find this kind of info because in many cases, moms are at their first kid so they don’t always know what’s best for the little one.

That is the reason for which I decided to put up this site, so everybody find here resources, information, price comparisons, best products, reviews and opinions.
